constant "conflicts found" message when connecting with ElkRP software

Every time I do a "connect to system" to my M1 Gold with my RP software, I get a popup saying "Conflicts found..." with the two check-box items highlighted being Rules and Texts.
I can send my configuration to the system, disconnect, and then reconnect 2 seconds later and I get the "Conflicts found" popup again.
I had searched previous discussions on this and found that this can sometimes happen when the power is drained on the little backup-battery M1 Gold main board.
But I have replaced that battery twice, and cleaned the contacts, to no avail.
Any other ideas??

I can't say if the battery could cause this to happen but just generally speaking I say try another new battery. I've done some careless stuff in my time like mixing up a new battery with the old battery.

Mike.

thanks for your suggestions. Am still stuck: multiple battery replacements to no avail, have tried "send all" to panel from RP

Do you have any disabled rules? Disabled rules are stored in RP but they aren’t stored in the panel. So you will always see that conflict if you have disabled rules.

Wow, "TrojanHorse", you solved it! That's exactly what's going on. I do indeed have disabled rules.
I guess that means that the behavior I'm seeing is not an indication that there's anything wrong, and i should just ignore it.
Or to use the old phrase, "it's not a bug, it's a feature".
It's slightly annoying to have to go through that pop-up every time I connect via RP2, but I can live with it.
Thank you again for that great insight.

Rock on!! Glad I could help and give back as so many have helped me here.

For me, since sorta by definition I’m not using disabled rules I end up deleting them so I’ll know if there’s a real error. If you have them in RP for reference / testing, once you’re done you can print the rules to paper or a PDF in case you need to refer to them again.
