Let me set the stage... I have a bank of 3 windows on one zone. The bank tested out OK pre drywall/trim.
Post drywall/trim (contacts are buried under trim), I cant get the zone to go secure.
HAI panel - loop reading 250ish, just like other contact zones.
Getting ready to ask contractor to pull down trim for me. I toned out the line clear to the end, but of course that doesn't rule out a short, just shows conductivity to the end - Right. There is a resistor on the end of the zone.
Can someone help me to understand what the loop readings mean? Any thoughts. Newbie, so troubleshooting steps are not top of mind.
Perhaps trim nail through cable? With the line being supervised (resistor on end), whats the best way to find issue.
Thanks.
