Controlling UltraProx LED/Buzzer from Keypad Output?

I'd like to use both the LED and buzzer in the Elk-106055 UltraProx reader to indicate that a card has been accepted.

I was going to do this by hooking up both lines to the Keypad Output and using an On Access Turn Output on for x secs rule.

Looks like the output of the keypad is a voltage, switched positive and I need a switched negative input to the prox reader. Am I understanding this to mean that I should use something like an Elk-912 relay to "invert" the output and have the prox lines tied to the relay so they normally float and have the relay tie them to ground when activated?

Thanks

Hi,

Yes I have used that technique.
