Crazy Fire TV problem

So I just moved into a new home. Got most of my automation going again and I just found out why my two Fire TV's keep rebooting... sort of.
I know why they're rebooting, just don't know why they're rebooting!!  :blink:
 
Turns out, anytime something automated happens, they reboot.
My blinds opened while watching a Fire TV and it rebooted. So that made me wonder, I then turn on a light from Elve and it rebooted again. Turned on a light from NQLink, reboot. Turned on a light from PC Access, yup, reboot!
So Then I disconnected the ethernet from the fire TV and connected to wifi. Turn on a light, no reboot.
Reconnect ethernet, reboot.
This was yesterday and I haven't looked into it further yet but was wondering if anyone had seen this before??
Gonna start sniffing packets at some time but thought I'd ask first.

I don't know anything about the problem discovered but I do recall someone having odd issues with UPNP discoverable devices when other UPNP events occurred. I'm not sure if your HA controllers use UPNP but I'd suspect either UPNP or some form of broadcast or UDP packets. Sound like a job for Wireshark (a sniffer). Sorry I couldn't be of help. Just a guesstimate....
 
Last night (3AM) and before going to sleep...on a lark decided to statically assign an IP for a new Roku TV.  Not paying attention statically assigned the Roku box with the same IP as one of two Homeseer servers. 
 
Later this morning noticed some events not firing (via TTS).  Looking at the logs noticed many disconnects (including Roku box) occurring from the mothership to IPs.  There are a few automation devices (controllers) with LAN connections to the mothership.  A few automation events here are based on device IP and MAC address (custom touchscreens) with an autonomous program managing the touchscreens. That and one grandchild (4 year old) running screen to screen playing with touchscreens last night.
 
Then I couldn't get to the HS3 web gui - and couldn't ping the device.
 
Finally realized I had misconfigured the static DHCP address and fixed it.  It lingered for a bit after a couple of reboots of the PFSense fireall.
 
All is well now and must've been too sleepy to notice what I did.
