CT.Wiki

With the recent introduction of CT2 and the CT.WIki I have started to post many of the important bits of information which is currently here on the CT forum. With a Wiki this information should be easier to find and all be in one place not scattered among the threads and posts here on the forum. The Glossary, on it's way to being all there now, along with some of the companies which support this great hobby of ours. I have also started to bring in the features and specs of some devices which get alot of attention here on CT. As Dan said in the CT2 announcement the other day a wiki is a community project, and can not survive without your help!

I urge the members of Cocoontech to help out and support this great project which was needed for a very long time.

If you do not want to post any information on the Wiki because you do not know how or are not familiar with a Wiki send me a private message with the information you believe should be included, and I will format it and post it for you. Or if you just believe that there is information that needs to be included I will also add it to the list of items I am going to research and populate as I get around to it.

For those of you who are willing to edit your own items...

If you are familiar with Wikipedia, then you won't have any problems using CT.wiki, as CT.wiki uses the same software. If you are new to the Wiki concept, then please visit this editing wiki article. If you want to make changes, keep in mind that the content has to follow our NEUTRAL POINT OF VIEW POLICY, or your changes might be undone.

Editing is extremely easy. It's strongly recommended that you take a look at one of the following articles in order to understand the usage of templates: W800RF32, DS10A, CQC, PowerHome, Cinemar for examples of the formatting we are using.

If you don't know where to start, check out the Stubs category (Category:Stubs), which contains all articles which need a lot of more information.

Attention: It is strongly recommended you use the 'edit' tab on top of the page, instead of the edit links you can find all over the articles. This will avoid confusion, especially if you aren't familiar with wiki editing.

Thanks to Dan (electron) and BSR for making CT a great place to hangout while hiding from my wife (and soon to be baby) at night
