Can I make another suggestions or question if possible: i have expansion enclosures- they have batteries and it would be nice to be able to see their levels. Also something worth noting is that the IP omnitouches will not register dead phone line or other messages like power outage or low battery. I dont know how the ipad with haiku would react but that is important to me as well.
Lastly is there a document describing the switch in settings for haiku as a keypad mode?
- It will make Haiku pop up the security code entry when an entry door trips or an alarm sounds.
- It will do a full detailed refresh of all statuses for all objects when Haiku first connects (since it assumes it will stay connected after this anyway).
- It will popup non-silent Messages as an alert on the screen (to match OmniTouch's behaviour).
- It will enable the countdown security beeps when arming the security system or when an entry is tripped.
- In the next version it will also enable the screen dimming and undimming when you touch the screen or when an event occurs.
I use a MM but I bought a server. Not necessarily because of HH but I also run my theater and have all of my movies on the MM. I wanted the extra hard drive space. Everything works like a champ. I have never had any issues.
Yeah I ended up buying a macmini with an i5 proc and 8 gigs of memory. It has been very reliable and I use it to sync all my ipads in the house. It is getting quite the workout now
