Did you know that there is a hidden feature in the Cortexa home automation system which allows you to monitor the raw communications between Cortexa and many of its subsystems? Cortexa provided me with some details on how to activate this feature:

There is a hidden feature in Cortexa that many of you will be interested in. We call it the Serial Monitor (perhaps a slight misnomer).
Go to a cortexa URL http://{cortexa IP address or DynamicDNS}/advance/advance.cgi?Command=Monitor&
You will see a page which allows you to bring up a console of low-level communications between Cortexa and many of the subsystems. It is somewhat unpolished, and you will need to know the device protocols to make much sense of it. You may find that you have to restart the monitor occasionally, especially if you change device configurations.
Jerry Davis has long championed making this tool visible in the Configuration utility. We all agree, and it will probably happen in a near future update. Until then, you have the 'secret' URL.
