Time.com posted an article on how to program your dvr/tivo, even if you don't know how to program a vcr. It's pretty short but might be usefuf, so here it is:

I jumped on Tivo early on and have enjoyed using it for a few years now. Its one of the best toys they ever came out with. If you don't own Tivo you don't know what your missing. Most people I know that finally get one will say the same thing after a month or so. Totally changes the way you watch TV.

Just wish they still sold their lifetime subscriptions, I ended up building my own, but would love to play with a TIVO some day, just don't want more monthly payments :lol:

They stopped selling lifetime subs? I know they raised the price, personally I think it's a little to much now. But I'm pretty sure you can still get one.

looks like they have it back, there was a time where they stopped selling it for a while, but guess they brought it back, probably because so many people complained.
