looks like it is the Ford 3.8 V6, which was used in many of their older cars such as the Taurus and Windstar. One of the biggest problems with that engine was blowing headgaskets, I hope you don't have that problem
E: Some of the early adopters did have that problem - then we found out we were running too much pressure in the coolant system. I've not had any problems with mine (knock on wood) but I put in a larger than normal pressure expansion tank.
Has most of the basic info. This is an experimental category airplane. The nice part is the engine automotive so the parts cost is 1/10 of aircraft. My sparkplugs are $1.25 from the local NAPA store.
