Driveway Probes

Has anyone discussed otions for this type control? The preference is wireless transmitions. I have used one that doesn't seem 100%.

Have you looked at the ones from Dakota Alert?

That is the type I have experimented with. It seems limited in the battery running down lowers the transmition distance. Mostly it seems reliable, I just was curious what else is out there.

One guy I knoe tried it on my advise on a job about 2000ft and it won't work consistantly. From the same company we'll try the Murs system and I'll let you know if it works better.

The MURS added the distance and we bridged it with the other device for chiming and time stamps. Works well and the lighting comes on only during the times they wish, when they enter the drive.
