E-Door Strike + AY-F64 + ELK

My dream is to be able to open my entry door, and disarm my (ELK) security system at the same time. I'd like to do this via a PROX or a PIN.

Here is what I think I need:

- Electric Door Strike For Schlage Locks (8-12vdc) (like here: http://www.smarthome.com/5190s12.html)
- AY-F64 - Gang Box Backlit Pin/Prox 26 Bit Weigand Reader - (like this one: http://www.automatedoutlet.com/product.php?productid=1086)

What am I missing?
What goes into installing it?
I assume I will need to FOBs from Rosslare, but I will program through the ELK.
Is there a better Pin/Prox solution? I

I'm a total noob, so forgive me. I'm going with an ELK-M1 gold...but that is another thread.

THANKS!

That's most of it.

I've used both a straight prox reader and a wiegand output keypad. Both interface directly to an Elk keypad mounted on the inside. You'll want a relay, like an Elk-912 that's controlled by the internal Elk keypad's single output to run the strike and, of course, a power supply compatible with the strike.

You'll need to convert the PIN codes to the Elk user codes and can do this via a utility downloadable from Elk's site or via an online converter here. If a user has a prox fob and also a PIN, they'll have two user entries in the Elk DB.
