I just got notice that ELK has come out with a new true two way wireless system - the ELK-M1XRFTW.  Seems pretty interesting.

They've been talking about this for some time - first word came in 2011, with the official ISC unveiling in 4/2012, IIRC.

I was interested in this for my father, but it was taking so long to come out.

I thought this started shipping months ago. I guess not, but very cool.

I'm starting fresh, with an alarm replacement this winter.

I'm hoping this 2-way wireless platform will interface with any...upcoming changes in the M1 platform.
