I would like to have a signal on an interior door which is frequently open when people are home but should be closed when house is empty. I have it set as an "Burglar Interior Follower" type 5, but I must bypass the zone regularly, even to set the alarm to "stay". Ideally I would like this zone completely ignored (dont even report violation on panel) unless I arm in "away" or "exit" mode.
Any ideas on how I can accomplish this. Options are to teach my wife and housekeeper to bypass, or make sure my son keeps the door closed when he is not in the room. Neither is great choice. Want this door alarmed as a backup incase someone gets through our glass doors to backyard.
