I check the KP2 to see which windows/ zones are open, or violated

So I press the arrow keys up, and up and up, etc etc to view the violated zones.

I see the violated or open windows displayed OK

The problem is: I am hearing "Intrusion, Violated" after every instance.. Multiple times

I want to silence this., I dont need it to keep mentioning Intrusion, Violated ...how do I silence this?

Preface: I have PIR Motions in the area, so I ASSUME "Intrusion" is the violated PIR motions when I am pressing the keys, but the word "VIOLATED" where is that coming from?

Anyhow, I like to silence this when I am checking for violated zones on the KP2. but I DO NOT want to turn VOICE off. I set the KP2 to both VOICE/CHIME

any ideas?

If memory serves, it says violated because it's a security zone.
As for silencing it I know you can do it since I have it set that way. I don't have RP in front of me right now, but I believe it's like wuench says - under globals > voice.

So do I just fine the correct one under global and change it to 'silence'??

Will that affect anything else in the system?

Only what you pick to silence. You could also go the other route to silence via a rule, but it'll silence a lot more and only be temporary, depending on the rule.
