Elk M1 away arming issue

After having some other programming difficulties with my M1 I decided to do a complete "trip" test of all of my devices.

I discovered that after arming the system "away" (with a single press of the Away button) and staying in the home that none of my interior motion sensors would trip the alarm.

Each motion sensor is programmed 04 - Burglar Interior
If I walk test using the keypad walk test function, each device shows "Tested"
If I walk test with the keypad showing no zones tripped, each device, when approached, shows as Zone Not Ready

I notice in the event log after arming the system, an event "1173-Area Armed". This same event appears when I arm the system in "Stay" mode. In looking in the manual at various system events, there is an event "1183-Area 1 is Armed Away", which is NOT what I'm seeing in the log.

This has got to be really simple, but I'm drawing a blank as to what is causing this behavior?

After you armed it in away mode, did you open and close one of your delay zones like the door? The Elk will revert to Stay mode if it thinks you didn't leave.

Also depends on if this option was enabled or disabled in programming as well.

Yes, I do have that option enabled. I can't believe I forgot about that feature.
