Elk M1 EEprom Fault

I have an Elk M1 I have up and running in our home for around 2 years now IIRC. A week or so ago the keypad has an intermittent display of EEPROM Fault. Most of the time if I change the system from stay to night mode or from an unarmed condition to a stay mode it ususally clears up the fault. Sometimes this doesnt clear it. Usually the fault is cleared and it takes a few hours to days for the fault to reoccur.

Anyone have this problem and how did you clear it up?

That would be worthy of a call to Elk... they might ask you to send it in. Spanky from Elk does monitor the boards, but I don't know how much he ventures outside the Elk sub-forum.
