I'm considering purchasing an elk m1 gold system, partially to control three buildings worth of thermostats, one house, and two garages. Each should have one thermostat. for the house thermostat, I'd like to be able to set it up on a one month schedule, with different wake up/go to work/home from work/go to bed settings for each day. Also, I'd like to have this in some sort of graphical format.
Also please feel free to suggest an thermostat/system that will work better with the elk M1 system to be able to do this.
I've found the proliphix NT10e thermostat which appears to have very nice software with a graphical display. do a search on google for proliphix nt10emanual and you should find it. check out page 51. (I'd post a link but being a newb here, it won't let me) I'd like to have something like this. I'd buy the prolyphix, however it appears the prolyphix is IP based rather than rs232/485 based that the elk needs to communicate. I'd like to have the elk and tstat integrated to be able to play with the temp based on other inputs.
I'd also be very glad to see how someone has a proliphix nt10e integrated with an elk system if it can be done!!!. Thanks for the help.
