So I have my system all installed and working fairly well now, but we keep setting off alarm due to following issue. Door has normal count down until it goes off, but motions are set to instant on so .... if your hands are full and walk to area with motion to set down something first before going to enter the code then alarm goes off anyway from motion activity even though original door entry count down has not exceeded yet. Or at least that's what I think is happening. Did I set a setting wrong somewhere, shouldn't I still get the grace period if door has been violated before motions? Or is the way mine is now a more generally accepted secure practice (Elk default?).
