ELK M1: port forwarding

I have port forwarding working for ports 2601 (TCP & UDP), 21 (TCP) and 26 TCP). I am able to access my system via my Android using the free myKeypad app.

My installer told me to forward the ports as above but all I can find via ELK is to forward port 2601 and then nothing about both TCP & UDP. Since I am now trying to better understand the system , take over its management and keep things clean, can anyone shed light on which port to forward or lead me to an ELK link on the subject.

(Using a Sonicwall TZ200 firewall - a bit of a challenge to forward ports - but works great)

TCP 2601 (for app connectivity), TCP 80 (if you want to access web interface on M1XEP) and possibly TCP 26 (some name/port discovery stuff). No UDP.

Thanks Wuench - I'll check out the links.

Looks like Port 21 is needed for firmaware updates from what I've read so I don't need that one for now.

Straight forwarding of 80 seems to have security implications - more to read there.

The M1 looks to be a pretty complete system. I may have to even link it to my ISY99 later after I figure it out!!
