ELK M1 Script that pings IP address

I just took the plunge and ordered an ELK M1.  I know that it has the ability to have rules or scripting, but is there any way to have the system ping an IP address, and then interpret the results?
 
something like Ping 192.0.0.1, if request times out, turn on light

No. Not natively.

I believe the factory default is 192.168.0.251

That's not what he was asking.  He was looking to have the elk watch the IP of a different device.
