ELK M1 Silence announcements

Is there a way to silence some announcements on the Speaker outputs in rules? I know if you have the two way amplified audio attatched you can mute speaker announcements during certain conditions. Would this work the same way if you wanted to mute announcements on Output 1? We want it to not make a disarm announcement if you disarm the system from Stay mode (i.e. if disarming in morning and someone is still asleep). How would I program that? and would I tell the output to turn on or off or toggle?

I'm not in front of a computer with ElkRP but it's definitely doable.  I think the actions is "Turn non-alarm sounds on/off".  You could turn off the sounds, disarm, then turn them back on.  Or what I do and I think several others do as well - is have a function button that's for "Quiet" mode - I toggle it on/off as needed, and in doing so all the voice announcements and door chimes stop.  If I'm messing with the system and know my wife is sleeping, I'll use that.  It turns itself off after 2 hours, and while it's on, the F4 button on my keypad is lit up.

Many different options to accomplish this. I simply have all non-alarm sounds turn off at 8PM and back on at 8AM. I mostly use them for certain zone announcements so I can keep tabs on the kids :blink:
