Elk M1 Vocabulary

Does anyone know how the M1G announces negative temperatures, such as might occur with an outdoor M1ZTS?

More generally, where in the M1 vocabulary can you get any kind of decent negative number announcement? My application sends word commands into the serial port and at the moment, this is a gap. I don't see "minus" "negative" or "below (zero)" in the vocabulary. Creating "below" from "B" + "low" is a very poor substitute.

After Las Vegas Spanky mentioned a new "ELK-SBA Wave File Audio Announcer" -- are the specs and pricing available for this thing?

Does anyone know how the M1 can be made to speak fractions (e.g., "zero point eight"). I don't find "point" or "tenths" or something else useful in the vocabulary.

Does anyone know the character code for the degree symbol that appears in the keypad display for M1ZTS temperatures?
