Hey guys, I just wanted to clarify something that I mis-quoted in another thread.
I am sorry for the confusion, but everything prior to M1, except batteries, has a lifetime warranty. Elk said that there is no way to lifetime warranty a control because the chips, at some time, may become obsolete. There is a 6 month period where, with approval, you can receive an over the conter exchange. After that there is another 1.5 years of no fee repair or replacement. Then, as long as we have components to fix one with, there will be a repair fee to get the product "back to work". See the link on the Elk website for more details.
