Elk M1KPNAV Question

Quick question about the ELK Navigator Touch panel, hopefully someone knows the answer.

Do you have the ability to send text messages / notifications to the touch panel to be displayed on the main screen?

I'm building a new system and I trying to determine if it's worth paying the upgrade cost over the KP2 keypad.

I tested my M1KPNAV keypad and was successful sending text characters. The only issue was that it seems limited to the first 16 characters only. Oh, and selecting "beep keypad" didn't cause the keypad to beep.

I don't need much displayed, just little reminders would be great. I think I will go ahead and get it vs the KP2 for my main keypad.
