Elk M1XEP Java Virtual Keypad - Unresponsive!

The Java interface was working fine but, at some point, something has gone wrong... :(

I quickly get to the access screen and i enter my pass code then click 'connect'. I then see the default screen of the virtual keypad but it never seems to initialize and I get the Win7 version of an hourglass forever!

Tried both Firefox and IE... latest Java update installed... M1XEP upgraded to latest software from ELK.

any thoughts? Thanx.

Could be Java settings, clear your Java cache on you client machine. Also, to communicate with the M1 the client needs TCP ports 80 and 2601 open outbound. If clearing the java cache doesn't work, try to turn off the windows firewall on the client just to see if that is what is blocking it. You could also try to telnet to port 2601 from the client to verify it is open. Like DEL said, trying from another machine or with something like eKeypad on an IPhone or an Android app would help rule out the M1 as being the issue.

This all assumes you are trying to access locally on your LAN. Remote access through a router w/firewall hasn't really been figured out yet, the M1's web interface really wasn't designed for remote access.
