Elk M1XEP sending out emails on turning on power

I was doing some changes to the wiring on the Control and I was curious about why the Elk M1XEP sends out emails when I turn on power back on, to control and P212s. It has always done this.
 
I assume this is normal? is there anyway to avoid these emails? Particularly, it emails me about one zone connected to p212s stating it has been violated, even though it has not.

That's a supervised power supply so it would only make sense that some type of reporting was done on a (what looks like) a power failure wouldn't it?

but it is not reporting a power failure or control being turned off. It is reporting a random, inaccurate event.

might just be dumping data into the serial and the XEP firing off a rule.
 
How's the XEP powered? Panel?

Yes. I believe so. I will need to double check.

How about what is being reported, how it's connected and what it actually is?
 
Might be a function of something stabilizing after the power is restored......
