I can now answer my own question. I was able to get a sample of the 4" snaptrack and try it out. While the PD9 does physically fit in the snap track, there is really not an ideal amount of clearance on the edges. The snap track pushes against the soldered ponts on the back of the card making it flex. This is not an ideal match, and I don't plan on using snap track for my installation. It was worth a try.
