Elk TS07 Streaming Video

I am having tooooo much fun with the TS07 and have it scrolling between multiple web based image capture CAM (e.g. Tahoe, Princess Cruise Line Deck Cam.. etc.). The system appears to have the capability of streaming MJpeg video feeds. Has anyone successfully done this and can provide an example (which web based source) and how you configured it in ELKRM?

Thanks.

The Elk-TS07/ElkRM software can view MJPEG streams from certain cameras that have been tested for compatibility. Please visit the following link to see a list of currently supported IP cameras/DVR's:

Remember that you can also add images to the video section. Please see the ElkRM setup manual at "Custom Item Setup" on page 2-4 to see a basic overview of this feature:

http://www.elkproducts.com/pdf/ElkRM_Setup...User_Manual.pdf

One example:
I want to display the local weather from the Weather.com:
Navigate in Internet Explorer to the map you would like to view...
Right click on the weather map and go to "Properties", copy the "URL" to the image...
In the RM_Setup software, create a camera and select "Custom" in the top drop down box...
Name the camera what you would like it to be called, and paste the copied URL into the URL text box...
Set the "Camera Stream Type:" to Image Capture...
Set the "Update interval" to 10-15 minutes(Weather.com updates these images every 10 to 15 minutes)...
The creation of the camera is complete, now you just need to "SEND" the video to all of the touch screens/ElkRM...

This feature can be used to download all sorts of imagery from the WEB. I use it to download stock reports from Yahoo Finance and family portraits that are on my WebSite.

If you wanted to set up an MJPEG camera, instead of selecting "CUSTOM" for the camera type, you would select the specific type of camera that you want to look at... Put in it's IP address/Port Number... UserName/Password(if any)... Setup is complete... SEND the Video...

There is a Panasonic BL-C10A camera on Elk's website if you would like to test the MJPEG stream...
Create a new camera:
Select Panasonic BL-C10A for the camera Type...
Name the camera whatever you like...
URL: http://democam.elkproducts.com
PORT: 80
UserName: democam
Password: elkcam
Setup is complete... Send the Video...

The RM_Setup software is included with the ElkRM installable version found at the following link:
http://www.elkproducts.com/products/m1/ElkRM.htm

Please note that the ElkRM manual is divided into several sections that explain using and setting up the ElkRM/RM_Setup software. It was made in sections so the installer can strip out pages that he does not wish to provide to the home owner.

Please post any new functionality that you use the video for(Such as Weather/Stocks)...
