ELO Intellitouch not working properly

Dear fellow cocooners,

Alright. I purchased 2 15" ELO touchscreens from the guy who had them on ebay a few months ago. One is working flawlessly, and I will actually be posting pics of my undercabinet kitchen install of it once finished. However, the other touchscreen has not been as well behaved. After about 1 day of testing it, the "touch" stopped responding. I replaced the cables (USB/Power), tried 4 different computers, reinstalled drivers, etc. and nothing worked. I figured it was dead.

However, while using it for a monitor on one of my pcs, I noticed that the touch works in one small area of the screen. It beeps whenever pressed, so it is definitely sensing it. I have checked the wiring and cables inside the box, but I am not sure to look for. It seems as though either the controller is bad or maybe some wires are loose? Anyways, if anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated as the seller has not responded to me in months.
 
I'm currently prowling ebay for ELO's....do you consider your ebay seller a bad seller from this? If so....I'd kind of like to know who it was.... ;)

Well, that is kind of difficult to say. He was very, very helpful when I first purchased the screens. Even offered to send out a part for the broken screen. However, I have been unable to reach him by either phone or email since November. I hate to tarnish his reputation, but I don't know what to do at this point.

I do not think he has any available on ebay atm, so it shouldn't be an issue.
