Entering user code not arming the system?

Hopefully this is something really easy that I am just missing. Basically, I have two Kp2 keypads with elk proximity readers hooked up. I have the output of both going to relays that turn on the buzzer of the proximity readers (I mention this in case it is needed). Everything works, except while installing everything, entering a user code does not arm the system, a little square box in the upper left hand corner shows up, but the system doesn't arm. Using fob's does the same thing.

Is there a setting I inadvertently changed somewhere?

Thanks in advance.

See page 25 of installers manual - make sure the user code is authorized to arm and authorized for area (partition) you're trying to arm. Did it work before?

Yes, that was it! The strange thing was that it worked and it seemed that as soon as I wrote a rule to use the Access for a keypad, it no longer worked even after I deleted the rule. Somewhere in there I also updated to the latest firmware so I don't know if it was either one of those or I inadvertently checked that for the 8 users.

Thanks for your help!
