Fortrezz setup with GE remote

Trying to set up a Fortrezz water/freeze sensor (zwave) with a GE remote without any luck. Before I look elswhere I want to besure that I am adding the switch to my network correctly. As anyone done this? Can you use the GE remote to validate operation, IE feedback?

You may want to run this by the HomeSeer message board as there are a lot of Z-Wave users. I thought these devices were discontinued though?

Which devices? The remote? If so it wouldn't surprise me. Got mine for $9 so if I have to get something else it won't kill me I just like cheap....
