i wonder if i'm overanalyzing what should be a simple question, but i don't actually know what CQC does to render an http page.

I do know that I don't use IE to display it, i use the CQC interface viewer, but if CQC does some funky internal crap with IE i'd never know.

EDIT: I do occasionally use IE to pull up the cameras, ie if i'm on my laptop and I don't have CQC up & running. IE is just faster, as it's usually open so I just click the favorites link.

it looks like the cqc browser widget supports activex so it must be calling IE. i was hoping to avoid using IE...
