Any idea what might cause a 10 second lag on a concord keypad presses
I installed a GE concord alarm at my brothers house 6 months ago.. It was working fine.. my brother wanted to install a drop ceiling in part of the basement and the cellular modem bus device (alarm.com module) was in the way. They did power everything down before moving.
There was enough slack in the wire to move the module without disconnecting anytihng, he swears up and down he didnt disconnect the bus wires to the modem...
Two days later they decide to plug the alarm back in.. now everything is super slow, 10 second between key presses and it doing anything
He did tell me that when he first powered it on it asked for access code and he through it wanted the master password. It seems he put it into demo mode by mistake at that point but it sounds like the alarm was already lagging. We took it out of demo mode, power cycled it and it still runs super slow.
Is the keypad super delay issue likely a programming issue or is the likely answer something with the bus wires?
