Ge NX & GSM Dialer

The GE GSM Module uses the AT&T Cellular network. We have a client in a location that has no AT&T signal. Does anyone know of an alternate dialer that would communicate signals from the NX panel over Verizon's network? Thanks,

sorry I found the uplink 2540 CDMA it doesn't say if it will work specifically with verizon
but you could call uplink and double check

You need to contact the service providers to see which unit is on what network, because a lot of these units use the GSM or SMS bands, so technically networks don't make as much as a difference as they used to, since GSM is GSM, no matter the provider, it's just who they have agreements with.

You could also try Connect24 (DSC) they tended to have coverage in areas where our Telular units didn't have enough signal.

If this is in the USA, your main GSM providers are AT&T and T-Mobile. Anything that's vanilla GSM (SMS and voice, not 3G+ data) should work across both networks (shared spectrum allocation), with the right provider's SIM and assuming the GSM device itself is not provider-locked.

I have the HAI unit. It also works on GSM. It does not matter which GSM carrier, but as mentioned, ATT and T Mobile are the main ones.
