Amazon order:

2 - 2 quarts of 10w-30 oil synthetic - used Mobile 1 that I had in my garage. One quart plus .1 quart used.
Step by step:

1 - pull fuse
2 - shut off breaker on Generator
3 - disconnected Negative on battery
4 - drained oil in to milk gallon containter
5 - removed and replaced oil filter. Hand tightened
6 - removed and replaced air filter
7 - removed and replaced new spark plug which I checked gap before installing. Old plug looked OK.
8 - put a quart and .1 of a quart of 10W30 Synthetic blend and checked dip stick for level
9 - connected battery negative, installed fuse, replaced fuse
10- ran manually for 5 minutes and checked oil level to be good
11 - cleaned engine a bit with vinegar spray and armor all.
12 - put side panels back on
13 - set the weekly timer 12 minutes on Wednesday at 11 AM
14 - put cover on

Do you power yours with LP gas? My sister is looking at getting one but fueled with diesel (with automatic transfer switch).

How do you like yours through the years (good and bad)?

It was here when we moved last year. It is 10 years old. It is LP gas powered. So far liking it. I did transfer / shift some of the generator powered circuits in the great room.
