Good home security book?

Been looking for a good book that discusses the finer points of home security devices, wiring, sample diagrams, etc but I have not found anything. Most books I have found discuss home security at a high level with little helpful technical info or they were published over 15 years ago. Looking for a DIY type of book with some details on current technology and components.

Any good references?

Thanks for the pointers. I should have mentioned that I did a search before I started but did not find anything that really hit the mark for me. I started browsing the 101 stuff but had not yet discovered the one you referenced. I will immediately check it out.
