HAI 2 Zwave Networks?

I'm in the process of converting my zwave network to a new zwave setup (because of issues I've had with Locks).  Anyway, during transition, can I run TWO VRC0Ps with a HAI OP2?  One is an older model (doesn't have beaming) and the other is a new model which I've finally got my locks to work with.  My assumption is that I can't do this as I'm not sure the HAI would understand if I have two serial ports defined as ZWave, but I thought I would check as I have a large network and it might take some time.  Also, there are issus with the Leviton installer with the latest version.  Constantly crashes....  Thanks.  SJ

Why would you? You should be able to convert your whole network to the new in about an hour using the installer tool. I know it crashes but that's just when you try to control devices from it, they add just fine. At least that's what I've seen from everyone else having that problem. So don't try to control them.
So take a laptop with the tool, walk around and remove all your devices from the old network, then add them to the new network. Update the controllers and associations and you're done.

Thanks. I can always control the three lock devices via serial commands into the new VRC0P until I convert. I've done that before. Your saying that the software can add devices AND update controllers/routes without crashing? Whenever I even select a device (not even to control), the software bombs... This might include the controllers as I would need to create new areas, associations, etc as well. I have a large 50+ network with many controllers, etc. I'm so surprised by Leviton releasing this software in this state. Crazy. SJ

I can add (in fact did) all my devices, somewhere around 30, set association, but if I try to control my Evolve dimmers it crashes. The switches are ok, just the dimmers. Sounds like you have more of a problem than I do though.
I agree it's sad they release this kind of software but if you ever have dealt with them it kinda makes sense. They aren't really up to par anymore. It took me weeks to convince them that controlthink doesn't write the software for the installer tool, THEY do. when I finally got that through to them they still couldn't tell me what the latest version is or whn the new version will be released.

Did you try to uninstall and re-install it? You should be able to add them at least.

Haven't converted yet. The only negative of my current setup is that the locks don't show up in access controls and the lock status is not managed. However, I can control via serial (e.g. Lock all doors when arming). I will try a few nodes that I don't care about as a test and see how it goes. SJ
