We've posted lots of screenshots and more info at our page here: http://www.nullriver.com/products/haiku

The screenshots link is on the right, it will take you to a full gallery of iPad and iPhone screenshots.

We've also posted a new update which should be approved by Apple soon:

2.1

- Added camera presets support for Foscam, Panasonic, Axis, Sony
- Added notifications in status bar
- Removes Force Rooms setting (contact us if you were using it?)
- Fixes inability to unset camera popup & run buttons
- Fixes simulated rooms not showing in "Rooms" tab of "Control" page when "Force Rooms" is enabled
- Fixes SCENE status display appearing for flags (it should not)
- Fixes an issue with non roomed units (single units) appearing under a wrong room
- Fixes weather not working (weather not available) for non-English locales
- Graphical fixes
- Misc bug fixes

If they are synced to the same computer/account, you should not have to buy the app again.

Here's the video tour showing off Haiku on the iPad. You can watch it in HD on YouTube.

I just bought the Haiku software about a week ago to beta test it for my clients. I have both the H@me application by DigitalDan and Snaplink application by HAI, but the Haiku is more featured and more flexible than the other two.

But I have not been able to set up my HAI IP camera to stream video. It works perfectly with the Snaplink and I can stream video on the browser by simply typing 192.168.0.103:8008 on the browser. I have also tried to get the MJPEG url for the HAI IP camera but i cant find it anywhere, I used the one for HAI camera server which i saw on Nullriver website, but it's not working. Can anyone provide me with the mjpeg url for the HAI IP dome camera?

I make use of centralite Elegancelighting system and I would really like the feature to group my loads into rooms, the force rooms feature is no more available and I understand it can only group into 8 every rooms, this is not practical for centralite system where I have only 3 or 4 loads in a room. Does anyone have suggestion on how I can achieve grouping into rooms with centralite? I have installation that have over 100 loads, so it will be very messy trying to scroll through 100 loads just to control one single unit.

Concerning scenes, is it possible to rename centralite scenes on Haiku? Because trying to cram scene numbers is unintuitive. Also, the centralite scene number 2 corresponds to scene number 1 on Haiku, centralite scene number 3 corresponds with scene number 2 on haiku, and so on, what's responsible for the scene number mis-alignment?

Suggestions:
I would love the software to incorporate 1) HTX control, full XBMC integration and full Russound Rnet integration with metadata.
2)Room grouping of any number of loads in any order. - I should be able to group load no 3, 19 and 56 to same room.
3)Naming of scenes, and gouping of scenes with rooms. Scenes for a particular room should only appear under the room.
4)upload of Automation Studio design to Ipad

So far, it's been a good job. Keep innovating and improving.

As long as you can get the MJPEG URL it will work fine, you can try doing "View Source" on the web page in your browser, that should give you the MJPEG URL.

Not currently supported, but we can look into adding manual sorting into rooms -- its tough though because its impossible to sync up with the controller then for any changes. I'll add it to the TODO.

This misalignment looks like a bug, we'll fix it in the next update. However renaming scenes isn't yet possible. Its in the TODO.

HTX we are looking into, but there are no docs unfortunately -- we'll get a demo unit to research with. No plans for XBMC integration. Russound RNET w/ metadata is already supported!

Added to TODO.

4)upload of Automation Studio design to iPad

This would not be possible, the closest would be adding ability to create custom views within Haiku -- its been suggested before, but it would be down the road for sure. Right now I think the product is very usable with the current interface. One of the problems with interfaces created in Automation Studio and similar is that they lack depth... they're a skin of images but are never very functional. That's why we chose not to go this route.

So far, it's been a good job. Keep innovating and improving.

Thank you for your feedback!

Should work just fine, just need the MJPEG URL which you can probably get from the web page on the camera.
How about an HAI video server?
I noticed that there is no option to select a camera number after entering the IP address.
Is is compatible?

@D14: yes, it is compatible -- the camera number is specified in the URL. It is documented in our support section ( http://www.nullriver.com/support )

Thanks Lupinglade.
It seems that your support section is still under construction.
Real quick, for an IP of 192.168.1.17 (server), using camera one on the server, what would be the correct URL to enter?
Thanks.
By the way, keep up the good work. Haiku is developing very nicely.

Should be working fine, the URL for the answer is http://www.nullriver.com/support/contact/view?supportQuestionId=174

Tried to type the URL here but its making it a link and shortening it.

You knew someone had to make this post. :-)

Now that Apple has released what in reality is a pretty awesome platform for home automation has HAI considered this as a possible tool in its tool box? For 500 bucks its hard to beat as a portable large touchsceen device with wifi. Support for this product would be something I would be willing spend dollars on immediately.

2 iPADS and a 200 or 300 dollar integration app from HAI would be a no brainer for 1300 bucks. Especially since it can control my Russound CAM (too bad my OIIe cant!), broswe the web, control iTunes (which is the backend for my home audio system), etc.

I'd love to have a HAI cradle to dock one of these in!
I was just saying you can do some very nice custom screens for the iPhone with the CQC iPhone RIVA app (if you use CQC) in the same regard that others have mentioned Homeseer and other apps.
