Haiku HAI and the iPAD

Lupinglade, I would be happy to let you have access to my system (pm me for IP address and what not) and I don't need anything in return. So far, I'm responsible for three purchases with another contract being signed on Thursday and two more bids out with Haiku as the primary interface (Bitwise Controls will be handling the AV portions). In other words, Haiku is making me money and I thank you.

That's awesome to hear! Thank you for helping spread the word re Haiku too! I'm sure lots of people could find it useful!

You can send the address/port/privatekeys via PM. Thanks again!

Alright, so here's how to get the HAI IP camera working with Haiku:

- Add a new camera in Haiku and enter the address as http://x.x.x.x:8008 where x.x.x.x is the IP of your camera on your network.

- Enter the user name and password then tap Done. This may not be required depending on your configuration.

That should do it!

We've also added it to our FAQs here: http://www.nullriver.com/support/contact/view?supportQuestionId=180

Is there a way not to display auxilliary zones on the main status page? Imho, these insecured auxilliary zones should not be treated as zones as they are not really part of your alarm zones

Doesn't work for me, but I may have changed the default. What is 8008 for? If I put the URL into safari, it comes up with the web interface. If I put the URL combined with what I have set as my MJPEG over HTTP port, it streams the video in safari. I also tried this in the haiku and it didn't work. Any other suggestions?

Maybe we can add a setting on whether to show the auxiliary sensors in the insecure zones. It really depends on what they are used for, whether it's useful for them to appear there.

SJHart: specify the mjpeg over http port and ensure you have mjpeg streaming enabled (it's set in the compression settings I believe). It should work fine...

There are three options for MJPEG streaming. I have mine set for the default. Streams perfectly within safari on my iPad or snaplink, but not with Haiku.

What are the values you are entering into Haiku?

It's working fine for us here in Haiku.
