HAI Omni LT firmware numbers

I think this is a dumb question, but will ask it anyhow.  I have 2 firmware chips for an Omni LT board.  One is numbered 2.16a and the other 2.6.  It seems to me that the 2.6 should be the latest.  Am I correct?

No, 2.16A is later.  Their numbering follows as 2.6, 2.7, 2.8, 2.9, 2.10, 2.11, 2.12, etc.
