Good day all,

i am prety new with HAI automation controller, so I have one question.
I have OmniPRO II kontroler and interface module and some dimmers, relay module and so on. I have set up control for my window shades that they lover from touch panel or via button wall switch. Now I want that shades lower down when it is getting dark. So my question is, how to connect that sensor? I just connect sensor to HAI OmniPRO II controller as input?? but I dont understand how it will give comand to relay module to start lovering shades. Or i need to connect sensor somewhere else?

Thanks in advance
Damir

Yes, you can connect an on/off type sensor to any zone input, or you could base if its dark just by using the time of day. The Omni Pro II has a clock that knows when its light or dark based on your longitude and latitude and the date.  In either case you will likely need some code to actually control the blinds.  Trigger the code with either the darkness trigger or the zone input you are using, then change the blinds in response.  Its easier to do this in PC Access, but if you don't have PC Access, you can program most of this from the keypad.

Thanks for quick reply.

At the moment my blinds are connected to relay module which is linked with push button and touchscreen interface and they are connected through omni-bus. Do i need to connect blinds to omni controller on output, or blinds can stay connected on relay module? I am confused. Is omni controller posssible to send signal to relay module over omni-bus to start lowering blinds?

You have to look at the documentation to see if your blinds are compatible with an interface in the Omni Pro II.  Blinds are usually controlled through an RS-232 interface, which the Omni has, but they could be controlled with relay control, or X-10, or UPB or Z-Wave or Zigbee all of which the Omni can control through interfaces. Other interfaces it can't control.  Without know the exact model blinds you are attempting to control, its impossible to say for sure.
