HAI UPB 8-Button House Controller

After linking each button on the controller to individual lights in other rooms, I can not get any of the 8 LED's to light up when I turn a light on in the other rooms?

The house controller is able to turn loads on and off in the other rooms but if I turn the light on in a room, the controllers LED will not illuminate.

Also, if I manually press the controller LED, and then turn the corresponding light off from a remote room, the controller's LED will turn off.

Why won't it recognize me turning a light ON?

Are you using HLC Mode or UPB Mode? Unless you are using HLC Mode, you will have to manually put in the links to track the status.

Are you using HLC Mode or UPB Mode? Unless you are using HLC Mode, you will have to manually put in the links to track the status.

I'm not sure. I tried to program it using dealer software as Unit 8 like the manual says. I also tried linking each button manually (i.e. press 5 times both switch and controller) and I can't seem to get it to show the status of the lights in the other rooms. Thank You for your reply.

Take a look and make sure that your House Code is set to HAI Lighting and then try to reprogram.

Also, I would check if you local loads are links or not... using this 8 button required me to change a couple of my local lights to links (even if the link was just 1 light). Inside upstart, it was pretty easy to connect the links to the buttons. Now it works great...
