Would it be possible to use HaikuHelper to control Global Cache hardware (such as the iTach IP to IR)? I don't believe HAI panels support sending commands over IP to third party devices.
So I assume it would involve writting the scripts to communicate with the TCP Socket of the Global Cache and basing the event off of flags set in the HAI controller?
Sure, that's one way to do it. Depends on what exactly you want to do. You can have any event trigger the script, including Buttons, Flags, Zones, etc. Even audio zones, something that the HAI controller normally can't do.
