Hawk I Camera, Good or Bad

I saw the following camera on sale HAWK-140IRCB and it looks like it will fit the bill. I need a camera to watch our outside play area in both day (bright sun) and night (IR, to look for critters). The HawkI looks nice, and has the specs I'm looking for, but I don't know how will it truly functions.

Anyone seen or tried one?
