HDTV Recommendation

Well my MCE PC is located in the basement directly below the HDTV. In fact the only thing located with the TV is the DVD player. Everything is remotely controlled. Nice and quiet that way.

My MCE computer is attached to the TV via a 35ft DVI and optical cables. The DVD is a USB device that goes in the A/V cabnet that is in the same room as the TV, but in a different area. Long cables under the house are a nice low tech solution to keep the PC out of the way. The fireplace, however, in the winter time is where I like to sit when watching TV and its fan generates its share of noise.

But then, my ears cannot tell any difference between bulk speaker wire and the stuff with the Monster label on it.

I use cheap cables from monoprice.com and bulk 12 gauge speaker wire.. I am not fooled by the hype...
