Heat Alarm

I now have my Ademco 5809 Heat Detector installed with the following settings:

21- Heat Alarm
0- EOL Supervised/RF
1- Normal Supervision

But I have two questions related to this install:


1. Is it normal to have to power off/on the M1g Controller to clear the alarm?

2. Should I use "3- Fire Supervision" to have this alarm triggered for an immediate Fire Department notification?

You have some errors:


ZT is wrong, you need to set it to a "10". That will correct issue #1.

2. You should have any FA devices set to fire supervision, has nothing to do with the amount of time for the panel to notify.
