Hi guys & gals. I'm in the process of installing a M1Gold panel. Since there are only so many hours in a day that I can devote to this project I am now into my 4th week of the install. I have approximately 2000' of cable already run with 95% of the windows wired using Tane magnetic pill switches. I also have 2 outside speakers installed with tamper switches and plan on mounting a horn in the Pole Barn. I'm expecting to need at least 1000 - 1500 additional feet of cable before the install is finished. At this point I also have all exterior doors including 2 overhead in the garage connected to the panel. I did decide to use the EOL resistors and have done so for all of the contact switches used to this point. Plans are to incorporate Insteon switches throughout the home but I'll need to finish hard-wiring of all windows, PIRs, and smoke detectors 1st.
