Home Depot and other HA walk in stores?

I was wondering where you guys get your odds and ends in the offline world? There are times I like to swing by Home Depot spontaneously to get quickport connectors, gang boxes, tools, connectors, etc.. But was wondering if you guys recommend other nationwide chains or something in the Philadelphia area?

Hi,
I shop at ADI in plymouth meeting. They have everything from HVAC parts to Omni/Elk parts as well as commercial panels.
For wire I go to Colonial Electric as they are often cheaper than Home Depot or Lowes if you have an account with them.

Try opening accounts with all of the low voltage distributors in your area. You may find one that would be willing. They're distributors, and most would require a tax ID. My local ADI wanted one.

I tried to buy a 12V battery from another LV distributor, and they wouldn't sell it to me.

Radio Shack may be another resource.

A local pro installer can sell you what you need, anyone with a tax ID.
