I am playing around with an extra 350 CC (not my primary fire system) to see how I can hook it up to my panel for consideration when replacing my existing fire alarms. I am have some issues getting the alarm / panel to work appropriately.
I have the 350 powered and am connecting the blue/orange (NO) to the neg/z16 with a 2200 on the z16 line. Then have the Z16 setup as a 4 wire smoke in ELKRP (note the jumper is set to 4 wire on the panel). With this connection, I continuously get a fire trouble on the panel. When I switch to non-alarm it seems to work fine.
Any input on how to get this working on my testbed would be greatly appreciated. I would like to have this operate as a fire zone.
