How do you reset an ELK TS07 to factory?

I dont recall ever setting the optional installer setup access code, but I have guessed every code I can think of and cannot access the installer setup. Is there a way to reset the TS07? Any help would be greatly appriciated.

The installer code is stored on the M1 panel itself, resetting the TS07 won't do much good in this case. If you forgot your installer code, then you might have to send the panel into ELK. Have you tried the default code (123456)?

Im not refering to the code to access the M1 panel. Its the optional code in the ELK TS07 RM

Not sure if you still need help with this, but this is what I figured out:

The password is stored in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\RM\ElkRM\ElkRM.xml in the <ILO> tags.

If you change the <ILO> tags, so it contains the following data:
<ILO>OTk5OQ==</ILO>

Your password will be 9999

Make sure you have ElkRM closed, or restart if you make any manual changes to this file.

Now that you have access to your software, you should be able to change it to whatever you want.

Of course, take a backup of that XML file before attempting anything, just in case, but I did test this successfully.

Is this separate from the Elk's default installer code of 172839? That's probably the one you're looking for.

Different code. It had been a while since I used ElkRM, but I started up my copy (since I sold my TS07), and this code is to prevent users from making changes to the TS07 setup. It's stored in the ElkRM.xml file (probably a different path on CE).
